Nedap healthcare has developed software to support homecare and long-term institutionalized care for over 15 years. Over the years the way of working has changed. The company's objective was to understand the current process around client intake', in order to optimize it's software to support it.
I observed and interviewed healthcare professionals in different roles and involved developers, designers and product managers at Nedap in doing so. Following this field research I synthesized the results in a customer journey map and document of user needs and issues. Finally, I facilitated a multidisciplinary workshop at Nedap to prioritize the user needs.
