ING developed a voice control feature for its mobile banking app. This feature would position ING as an innovator; Next to this, the business felt that voice control could be especially beneficial to partially sided or blind customers. This likely required adaptations to the original design. To better understand the required adaptations, the businesses wanted to test the application with this target group.
In collaboration with the national association for partially sighted and blind people we tested the feature in a group session. I identified a number of opportunities for improvement and captured these in an annotated video report.
